During the last two days, we had the pleasure of attending the GHOST Day: Applied Machine Learning Conference 2025 in Poznań. The conference is a unique opportunity to explore the potential of machine learning and artificial intelligence in various fields, with the focus on practical applications and real-world use cases. The event featured a series of presentations and discussions showcasing the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a special focus on their applications in various industries.

Bartosz Ptak has opportunely presented our research on the application of machine learning in the field of computer vision. The poster entitled “Enhancing Crowd Management with Drones, Computer Vision and Deep Learning” provided an overview of the latest advancements in tiny, point-oriented object tracking on drone recordings. The poster highlighted the potential of machine learning algorithms in improving the accuracy and efficiency of crowd counting.
